This is another postcard of River Wharf, which is a river for much of its length it is the country boundary between West and North Yorkshire. This picture was taken from Alan Curtis and it was created by the E.T.W Dennis and Sons Ltd company in Scarbourough.

It is an open picture and it was pictured in Ilkey, which is a small village near Skipton, between Bradford and Leeds. In this postcard we see the green tree mountain with houses in between. As you come closer to the photograph there are not many trees and we see more clearly the houses that have cars outside and the green small valley which leads to the river. The river has a slope with trees on the edges, but also in some parts in the river there is a beige soil that might had fallen from the earth ground into the river. The sky is clear with some white clouds and there is a reflexion of the sky into the river. This is because the water of the river is clear like chrystal and it has a reflexion of the sky but also shadows from the trees.
